Brigid Ursula Bisley
Brigid Ursula Bisley graduated with a B.Mus (comp) from the Auckland University School of Music in 1986. Subsequently she studied conducting privately with Uwe Grodd and the late Maestro Eliano Mattiozzi Petralia. Brigid is a renowned composer and her works have been performed and broadcast in New Zealand and overseas. She has composed for film and composed The Waitakere Overture which was commissioned for the opening of the Waitakere City Council's new headquarters in Henderson. She has freelanced as a conductor throughout Auckland and teaches violin from her Titirangi studio.
